Who we are
GoodDay Credit is an Android app by Naveenkumar Sunkana, an individual developer based in Andhra Pradesh, India. Our website is www.gooddaycredit.com. For privacy questions or grievances, email gooddaycredit.app@gmail.com.
What we collect
Account information
We collect your email address and the name or username you set. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and basic profile. Supabase Auth handles sign-in, and Resend delivers sign-in emails.
App usage information
With the Android Usage Access permission you grant in system settings, the app records app names or package names and the start and end times of usage sessions. It does this only as needed to attribute time to your focus windows. The app also reads your installed-app list only to show app names and icons. This information is stored on your device and uploaded to our backend so you can review it across sessions.
Your content
We store your focus windows and schedules, Credit and Debit reviews, selected or custom activity names, and daily statements.
Voice review
Voice review is an optional GoodDay Credit Pro feature. If you use it, your microphone is used for on-device speech recognition. The resulting transcript is sent to our backend and Google's Gemini API to suggest app categories. We do not store audio recordings.
Subscription, analytics, and logs
Google Play Billing and RevenueCat provide subscription status and purchase identifiers. We never receive or store your card or payment details. PostHog receives product events with counts, device and app version information, and a pseudonymous user ID. We do not send app names, package names, activity names, email addresses, or typed text to analytics, and we do not use session recording. Our Cloudflare Workers backend keeps short-lived request logs, such as errors and timestamps, for security and debugging.
What we do not collect
In the current Play version, we do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, videos, files, website or browsing history, or an advertising ID for ads. The app can save a statement image to your gallery only when you choose Save; it does not read your gallery. A website-tracking feature exists only in development builds and is not included in the Play version.
How we use and store data
We use your information to provide the app: track focus windows, let you review your activity, show analytics, calendar and daily statements, run widgets and local reminders, support your account, manage subscriptions, improve the product, and keep it secure. Focus windows and usage sessions are cached locally in SQLite for offline tracking; widgets and reminders read that local data.
Service providers and international processing
We use Supabase for database and authentication, Cloudflare for backend hosting, Google for Gemini, Google Play, and Google Sign-In, RevenueCat for subscriptions, PostHog for product analytics in US cloud infrastructure, and Resend for transactional email. These providers process information on our behalf. Data may be processed outside India, including in the United States, Singapore, and Japan.
We do not sell personal data, run ads, or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Our providers encrypt data at rest, access is restricted to the developer, and Pro features are checked server-side. We keep account and app data while your account is active. After you delete your account, we delete that data from our database within 30 days. We may retain limited records where law requires it, such as purchase records held by Google Play or RevenueCat. Pseudonymous analytics can be deleted or disassociated on request.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or raise a grievance. You can withdraw consent by revoking Usage Access or microphone permission in Android settings, and by stopping voice review. To request account deletion, visit our account deletion page.
We respect rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. People in other regions, including the EU and UK under GDPR, may exercise similar rights. Email Naveenkumar Sunkana at gooddaycredit.app@gmail.com; we aim to respond within 30 days.
Children
GoodDay Credit is intended for people aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will change the Last updated date above. For significant changes, we will provide notice in the app.
